August's Horrible Rollercoaster

This month SUCKS. I cannot get anything going. Everytime I win a few pots I just get sucked out on huge, or cold-decked. Actually I guess it's an accomplishment to be down 50k at the new limit im trying out 25/50, be running horrible, and somehow still not be in the negatives.

It is very frustrating, and comparing last months 175k month of winning almost everyday, to this months 32k hands and 13 days of breakeven poker, shows you how sick a game it can be. Just insane how you can play so close to the same and have such different results. It's just variance evening out I guess, cuz last month I def ran hot, and this month I couldn't run any worse. Bankroll management is obviously insanely important too and I'm so glad I have a good amount readily available.

I haven't been playing as good as last month, mainly b/c everyone plays worse when they are running bad, but I have been playing much better than breakeven poker for sure. I've also table selected somewhat poorly, partly because I get so little action now, I don't have as much of a choice.

I don't need any1 to say anything when I make posts like this, but it's fine if you do, I just don't want a blog and don't post anywhere else and honestly if it helps at all to write this shit down then I'm gonna do it. Plus I'm sure at least some of you are interested and can learn not to be results oriented, and how important BR management is.
