you can deposit on party for the max bonus then withdraw I believe... unless you need all the money for the limit you play. Could withdraw $50 then put it on stars for the tourney.

$10 on jan 30th sounds perfect... we dont HAVE to have the buyin $50, that will just scare away a lot of potential players and publicity. i dont want to end up playing like a 13 person $50 sng...

I wasn't calling for a $50 buy-in. Someone insinuated that they couldn't put $50 into Stars (min deposit) because they had their money in Party clearing a bonus.

$10 is straight with me.

Default Calling me out!

I do not play on Party so I have no access to the BBJ tables. I would love to play some 2/4 with you. I was just smoking ya a little, but it would really be fun to play some poker with you!!

January 30th. Pokerstars.
Mr. TalkingPoker sir, would you like to set it up?
Or shall I.
The only way to get this thing going is to just do it.

$10+1.
Whoever can't make it for whatever reason can play in the next one.

This gives everyone enough time to save up their bottle refunds and deposit to Stars.

Default Works for me!

Just tell me when it is up there. I now will have the TP Invitational for $10, and the Blogger Tourney on Feb 2nd. Thats $30 of my initial $50 deposit to stars. So that leave ten bucks to waste in Freerolls and low-level-limit. Or I could play 1 hand of 10/20! lol. Any good freerolls on Pokerstars?

Freerolls? Not really, unless you have a good amount of FPPs and you consider those types of buy-ins "freerolls." If you have $20 left, and you want to play low limit, you won't find a problem at Stars. I think the NL goes as low a $.01/$.02, and the limit starts at $.02/$.04. For MTT action, there are buy-ins ranging from $1, $3, $5+$.50 and up.

Being a competant limit player, I would suggest taking the $20 and building it at the $.25/$.50 tables.

See you at the tournament.

I was just blowing smoke too.

I like how you "want to play me" after you saw my hand history posts in the other thread.

Has you chomping at the bit huh?

I didn't think I was that bad!

I can't wait to play against anyone and everyone on this site. Be nice to be able to associate "some game" with the name.

I'm always chasing bragging rights.

Default Password Protection?

Another thing to consider... whether to password protect the tournament. This way, we can guarantee that only forum members can get in the tournament.

If there is no password protection, then any random Joe Sixpack can click on "Private" tournies and just register at will. This has it's advantages, because then the prize pool will be higher...

So I guess, collectively, we should decide to keep it just between us, or have it open to all.

Default Details...

I'm going to set it up. The tourney will be password protected, and open to any TPF member who makes a minimum number of quality posts by the time the tourney starts. And by minimum, I mean minimum - like 10. I'd just like to get SOME contributions around here from any new members this may attract, not to mention the ones who are currently inactive.

Details will be posted in a new thread tomorrow. How does 7 PM ET sound? I know that's on the late side for the UK folks, but I figure that should accomodate the most people.
