Default disgusted... only slightly

PokerStars Tournament game, buy-in $1.00+0.20, Level IV $50/$100 No Limit, 3 players
Hand History by

SB: T$3935
HERO (BB): T$1600
Button: T$7965

SB posts Small Blind T$50
HERO posts Big Blind T$100

Pre-flop: A 3 (T$150)
Button folds
SB raises to T$150
HERO calls T$100

Flop: 6 7 A ($350)
SB bets T$100
HERO calls T$100

Turn: 6 7 A J (T$550)
SB bets T$100
HERO raises to T$500
SB calls T$400

River: 6 7 A J A (T$1550)
SB bets T$800
HERO calls T$800

SB shows 5 Q
SB wins T$3200 with a flush Ace high

Surely he did not have the odds to call my raise (given 3 to 1 odds, needed 5 to 1)... but should I have folded anyways due to crappy kicker or maybe go all in?

If you had raised the flop, he is folding.

and if you push the river as you suggested above, he is definitely calling...these 1.20$ players are not folding a flush on that board.

Played it well on the turn, but my only question is...were you slowplaying the flop??? I'd raise it to 300-350 personally.

well, I actually meant pushing on the turn, but now that I think about it, raising is a better play even though he called me.

As for the flop, I was pretty sure my 3 kicker was too low and that he had an ace.

I decided to raise the turn because he bet 100 on flop and on the river, showing weakness. Also, I was pretty sure he was betting to prevent me from betting more.

My thought process was that if he bet 100 on the flop with an ace and I called, he would think that I would call more than 100 on the turn so the 100 bet struck me as odd.

In regards to the FLOP: If you think you were unsure about your A3..make a standard information raise..say to 300-400 ( in that case he would have to fold his Q5)

On the TURN: Pushing would be a huge overbet and a bad idea, because your only getting called by a hand that's beating you.

RIVER: Unlucky, right move just to call.
