Sigh..
Well.. I was hanging in around 70th place at the 5K tourney. I know. I am addicted now. I have 1400 left with 50/100 blinds and decide I need to make a move. So I get the king of all moves: AA. Pocket Rockets. Ya Baby! Two players before me put $300 into the pot. So I go ahead and raise all in hoping to take the blinds as well as the $600 from the other two players. The first $300 better folds. The other one sits for a few, thinks, and decides to call me. I have no idea why. I have been playing EXTREMELY tight. He has about 3000 left and the call is around half his stack. He turns over KJ s0000ted. The flop is a great and wonderful 2-9-A! I hit my 2 outer and I am cruising on to victory, right? None of his s00t is on the board either. The next card. A Q! Umm.. Why did that card come. And the finally to my 5K tourney at 70th place is a 10! It made his freaking straight and I am going home shocked and dismayed but somehow not too angry. Oh well. What are you going to do sometimes. I put all my money in the pot with the best hand and the best odds to win and I lost. It happens.

Gotta love it.
That's so annoying. But that's poker. |

Yup
The fact I did not go ballistic and rant and rave was a good thing. I really got the zen of it that time and said to myself "You did what was right and that is all you can do.". I am not always this good.
