Default Brag: He never saw it coming

Okay, I'll start off by saying, that I am not entirely happy with my big push, but I put this dude on top pair, and figured he would be likely to jump off a cliff with this.

This is also just about the single biggest pot I have ever won(top 3 at least)

When he called though, I was praying that no more hearts would come.

wowow. Im all for raising again here, maybe not that much tho. Although to be fair could i lay down AK to that? I wouldnt have you on a set, prolly KQ flush drawing or something similar.

Meh, it worked.

At these limits those overbets are called A LOT - I have not figured out why yet...

Ill take it one step further

I like the overbet at these limits bc AK is folding never and KQ/KJ arent likely folding either

At the same time despite how odd it sounds, I think I like the call by AK here (with the A ) since most players at this level will slowplay sets and make this kind of bet with KJ/KQ or 2 hearts, and sets are all that worry him

In a normal game both plays are idiotic however

I play this level the most and over 50% of the players will take that ak all the way. You gotta love it

This is definitely one of those plays that is level specific, and I am working at identifying as many of those characteristics of 25 max as possible, so I don't use them in better games.

Here is a question for everyone. What do you think is the highest level where AK is making that call on the flop more than 50% of the time?

I've never played below 1/2 (actually I think I played a little .5/1 at one point but I dont really remember) online, so Im not really sure. I say the .25/.5 level shouldnt be too much different than .1/.25.... maybe starting at the rest of the levels the 50% thing may not be correct, but there are still tons of players who will take TPTK to the extreme at 1/2 and up
