This is the constant shit I run into on Tilt...

Full Tilt Poker Game #2405799392: Table Tinsley (6 max) - $0.10/$0.25 - No Limit Hold'em - 1:25:31 ET - 2007/05/12
Seat 1: ReelDeal07 ($28.85)
Seat 2: Jeppsen ($25.85)
Seat 3: The Rayk ($17.30)
Seat 4: john2153 ($15.85)
Seat 5: mojoe_h ($47.70)
Seat 6: Enigmma ($26.10)
Jeppsen posts the small blind of $0.10
The Rayk posts the big blind of $0.25
The button is in seat #1
*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to ReelDeal07 [2h 2d]
john2153 folds
mojoe_h raises to $0.50
Enigmma folds
ReelDeal07 calls $0.50
Jeppsen calls $0.40
The Rayk folds
*** FLOP *** [Jd Qd 2s]
Jeppsen bets $1
mojoe_h calls $1
ReelDeal07 raises to $4
Jeppsen folds
mojoe_h calls $3
*** TURN *** [Jd Qd 2s] [3d]
mojoe_h checks
ReelDeal07 checks thought I'd check behind here to enduce a bluff on the river and for pot control
*** RIVER *** [Jd Qd 2s 3d] [9d] but of course one of the worst cards in the deck hits
mojoe_h bets $13
ReelDeal07 has 15 seconds left to act
ReelDeal07 folds
Uncalled bet of $13 returned to mojoe_h
mojoe_h mucks
mojoe_h wins the pot ($10.25)
*** SUMMARY ***
Total pot $10.75 | Rake $0.50
Board: [Jd Qd 2s 3d 9d]
Seat 1: ReelDeal07 (button) folded on the River
Seat 2: Jeppsen (small blind) folded on the Flop
Seat 3: The Rayk (big blind) folded before the Flop
Seat 4: john2153 didn't bet (folded)
Seat 5: mojoe_h collected ($10.25), mucked
Seat 6: Enigmma didn't bet (folded)

Yeah, I could have fired at the turn but I thought a check behind was OK for pot control and b/c I thought he could be on the diamond draw (my read was he liked to chase, a lot). And, of course I can't call that river. FU Tilt.

so I will be the asshole here as most of the regular suspects aren't biting.

Umm, pot control on that turn is sucide. The phrase you want to investigate is "stack-a-donk" on that turn.

FWIW online poker is so rigged

Default ouch

With flush and straight possibilities out there I really don't like the check. I am okay wuth the idea of pot control in general, but there are so many bad cards that could hit the river (as happened) that it is just not worth the risk. The board determines my action here. without a bet on the turn, I would not know where I stand after the river.

Hey, wait a sec. I just realized that this is in B&B and not Hand Discussions. If you'd like, I'll blow my analysis out my ear. Sorry if it was unwanted.

off to play soccer dad.

Having a rough go at it at FTP, huh? Me 2.

I've played 50k+ hand there at 1/2 6max and I've only managed 13ptbb/100. I'm patient though. I'm sure my luck will turn.

My bad,

7ptbb/100. Still goot. Must be calculated differently by the newer versions of pokertracker.

This is a little bit Off Topic, so maybe I should start a new thread, but meh.... I'm already here. So:

Someone please explain exactly how ptbb's are calculated and exactly what they represent. Why are they better or worse than looking straight at BB/100?

The numbers never seem to add up for me when I play with them.

Thanks.

OK, I'll be nicer now.

The guy admitted to me later that he had Adxd... so, while it's results oriented my read/play was right on this one. So... blow me.
