Made correct call, but ...
Should I have.
Villian is very loose, like 80% VPIP He has bluffed and shown the bluff on many occasions. When he is strong he bets weak. Weak he bets strong. (Yes I know I could/should have raised preflop, but IMO it would not have mattered against THIS Villian) PokerStars Game #9739512851: Hold'em No Limit ($0.25/$0.50) - 2007/05/04 - 01:27:08 (ET) Table 'Gedania' 9-max Seat #2 is the button Seat 2: 100% Rebel ($9.75 in chips) Seat 3: goesto11 ($55.85 in chips) Seat 4: MUCHACHON ($69.75 in chips) Seat 5: trottingkrip ($48.30 in chips) Seat 6: ThreeFiveOff ($25.40 in chips) Seat 7: McFiddish ($49.25 in chips) Seat 8: golfermania2 ($51.70 in chips) Seat 9: Robbr25 ($66.90 in chips) goesto11: posts small blind $0.25 MUCHACHON: posts big blind $0.50 *** HOLE CARDS *** Dealt to Robbr25 [Kd Ah] trottingkrip: folds ThreeFiveOff: calls $0.50 McFiddish: folds golfermania2: folds Robbr25: calls $0.50 100% Rebel: folds goesto11: folds MUCHACHON: checks *** FLOP *** [Ac 9s Ts] MUCHACHON: checks MS Sunshine joins the table at seat #1 ThreeFiveOff: checks Robbr25: bets $1.25 MUCHACHON: folds ThreeFiveOff: calls $1.25 *** TURN *** [Ac 9s Ts] [6c] ThreeFiveOff: checks Robbr25: bets $2.50 ThreeFiveOff: raises $5 to $7.50 Robbr25: calls $5 *** RIVER *** [Ac 9s Ts 6c] [3s] ThreeFiveOff: bets $16.15 and is all-in Robbr25: calls $16.15 *** SHOW DOWN *** ThreeFiveOff: shows [As 2c] (a pair of Aces) Robbr25: shows [Kd Ah] (a pair of Aces - King kicker) Robbr25 collected $49.05 from pot *** SUMMARY *** Total pot $51.55 | Rake $2.50 Board [Ac 9s Ts 6c 3s] Seat 2: 100% Rebel (button) folded before Flop (didn't bet) Seat 3: goesto11 (small blind) folded before Flop Seat 4: MUCHACHON (big blind) folded on the Flop Seat 5: trottingkrip folded before Flop (didn't bet) Seat 6: ThreeFiveOff showed [As 2c] and lost with a pair of Aces Seat 7: McFiddish folded before Flop (didn't bet) Seat 8: golfermania2 folded before Flop (didn't bet) Seat 9: Robbr25 showed [Kd Ah] and won ($49.05) with a pair of Aces

You say raising preflop doesn't matter against this villain, but why? Surely you thought your AK was ahead of his 80% range of all possible hands, right? So why not raise and build the pot when you know you are ahead?

By not matter I mean he would have called anyways.
Yeah I see what you mean about not slowplaying my AKo vs this opponant. I tend to mix my play up a lot with AK because you get weaker A's, like his in the pot with you. The call on the river was a hard one, which I guess I made that situation happen. Thx,
