You are looking at the 4th place finisher of the 5K Friday Night Guarenteed NL Tourney. I could have been first. However by the time I got that far down I was soooo tired and out of it that I went all in with 50K and a 4-to-a-Flush draw with one card left. I got beat by AA. Oh well. Sometimes you gotta push. However I think I was just tired. I need someone talking to me on AIM when I do these things or I get fuzzy headed and end up losing.

I am happy with the finish, I just know I could have done better. That last table is tough and tiredness plays a HUGE part in how well you do. Better luck next week I guess.

BTW - TP: How do you transfer money to an Empire player via Empire Poker?
I owe my partner 90 bucks.

What's the buy in for that tourney? That sounds like a rather small guarentee to a tourney - relatively speaking. Unless it was like 10 dollar or less buy in.

The buyin was $20. It started at 8:00 and ended at 1AM (for me) with a $450 profit. Nice ROI for the price.

try the dan harrington approach with the longer tourneys and intentionally zone out at times early on so that you can be a little bit sharper if/when you get to the end.
