Not that it would have mattered, but opening for not even 3x BB is awful

I opened for .75

Somehow the converter has it at .70, dont know why.

But.........
If I really opened for .70 instead of .75 thats somehow awful??

So, if I were playing 3/6, and I opened for 17 instead of 18, it goes from a standard play to awful??

I totally respect your input Zy, honestly, as much as anyone here, I just dont get the logic in your labeling it AWFUL.

I did have Aces...........

Yea I guess AWFUL is a little extreme... but I dont like it

18 is a bit light at 3/6 as well, not standard. 17 or 16 would be worse.

3x BB in a cash game in general I think is light... of course this is table dependent (what size raise limits the field)

It all boils down to table standard raises I know. For instance on Tilt the standard raise is 3.5 BBs +limpers (bc thats the pot button which is available), while on Stars its 4 BBs plus limpers. Live games it ranges from 5x-10x depending on the game, place and table. I'll adjust to each one. If I started opened 5-10x online people would think Im crazy and if I start opening 3.5x live, I'd be seeing 8 way flops. I dont think this # should ever drop below 3x in any circumstance though
