Don't complain. I got my ass handed to me again tonight (by far the worst two back to back sessions Ive ever had) and am now back in triple digits for the years net
A few standard 3 outers (K4s vs QQ in a 3 bet preflop pot etc), mixed with a little questionable play did it for me.

TP, I know encouragement can be meaningless when you are stuck down in the pit of variance with a sore asshole, but you got to keep on keeping on. And remember, it sure does beat a real job.
Go do whatever physical activity you like to do, push your body until it is really tired and sore. It will clear your mind and help with your perspective. Then come back to it and keep making quality decisions. The results will turn around. |

This is good advice. The only problem with it is that I've gotten soooooooooo lazy lately! I have a softball game tonight. I'm not sure I'll be able to really push my body there, but hey, it's better than nothing.
Oh, and I also have some Trolls to kill. That always makes me feel better. |

So, I "got back on the horse" today, and was doing quite well for a while. Then, and I'm not kidding when I say this, I played the siungle all timne worst HU player I have ever seen. EVER. She ran 85/1 - what was the "1" you ask? When she 3 bet me and the shoved the flop (After completely missing) with 72o.
She showed me at least a half dozen bluffs when she shoved her stack in with 5 high, but at the same time was a HUGE calling station, prettym uch never folding until the river. Naturally, I mised almosy everything, and when I did hit, she sucked out. My favorite was when the flop came KK3 - followed by KK (I bet pot on the flop and turn) and she shoved. Yeah, my 33 wasn't looking so good any more, huh? When I flopped TP plus oesd + backdoor flush and we got it all in, she had flopped the straight, of course. This was followed by "ty loser" - our first chat of the session. She took me for well over 3 buy ins, and I'm actually surprised it wansn't worse. I poker. |
