Poker After Dark Tournament

I am thinking of buying in directly (10,000 FTP) to the poker after dark at FT. I suck at tournaments specifically, as well as poker in general. Think is it a good use of FTPs?

With only 1 seat being awarded I would say no. But I would also rather have some useless good from their store than a very slim chance for a chance to win a 150,000 or whatever it is.
