They cut the number of events down to 7 (or so the most recent cardplayer magazine says). It is likely that they will stretch each event into a two week show?

I like this. Hopefully now it will look a little less like a shove fest. Maybe we'll actually get to see some real poker and not just the showdown hands.
Hanven't seen the episode yet, anything else new? |

I remember reading that the late structure had been slowed down a bit. Good for poker, and good for TV poker.

I just checked the schedule. It looks like they have 20 Season VI events and only 2 of them cover 2 episodes.

Yeah... it's Season 7 they cut, and I might be remembering wrong, but I thought they cut 7, not cut down TO 7.
The WORLD Poker Tour is soon to be 100% USA based (if you could Niagara as USA, and you might as well). |

Some of those events are pretty much a joke. They really should get rid of a lot of the invite only shows. They're not that entertaining.
