Got the money - thanks!
I would have made it a lot easier on you if I'd actually signed up as MathBabe. Sorry about that, I'm glad I asked. |

December's Rake Back payments have been completed. If you didn't get a transfer and think you should have, or if you'd like to see a detailed breakdown of how your RB was calculated, feel free to PM me with your Full Tilt screen name and I'll get back to you ASAP.
Also, as a reminder, when you use points to purchase things from Full Tilt's store, the "value" of the item(s) you purchase comes off of your total Rake. I believe that Full Tilt values points at 200 points per $1, so if you spend 25,000 points on a jersey, that would reduce your total rake by 25,000/200 = $125, which would reduce your RB payment by $125 * .27 = $33.75. That's pretty standard, but one thing you may not know is that every time you use the Cashier to Deposit or Withdraw funds to/from your account, you incur what are known as "Player Fees," which also come off the top of your Total Rake generated. These are typically not significant, but sometimes they can be. One player (I PM'd him) actually had $162 in Player Fees in December, for example, costing him about $44 in RB. This was only a small fraction of what he earned for the month, but still. Anyway, I have no idea how these fees are calculated, or if they are on a per transaction or % basis, but be aware that if you are cashing out a lot, this will also reduce your RB. Rather than cash out 5 times per week, you may want to cash out just once every couple of weeks. |

I just did some research and it seems you may be right. It looks like FT charges a % of the deposit amount, which can obviously add up to be a lot for big players... and the % varies based on the deposit method. I don't have a specific breakdown.
Moral of the story: Try not to cash out too much when you do, because redepositing (if you go broke) will affect your Total Rake. |

If I were FullTilt, I would do the opposite. From a business perspective, sites should do everything in their power to encourage players to put money in, and discourage taking money out. You'd think they'd eat the fees/MGR for deposits, and make it up on the other end.
Then again, there are probably a lot more deposits than withdrawls ....

I don't even want to know how much I've lost doing this process over and over again.
I think I've done this at least five times. |

LMFAO, ditto, except the 10k part is more along 5k for myself. I think I might jump on this rakeback bandwagon in February...if I can find some damn spare time.

January's rakeback payments have been completed. As always, if you have a question or would like to see the exact breakdown of how your RB was calculated, just shoot me a PM.
Also, for Full Tilt player "Without Help" (I forget who that is here), please PM me. Your transfer was declined. The reason given was this: |
