i know this sucks being results orientated, but did hes turn all in make you in any way want to fold this hand?
Also i have a question - why the raise preflop. People will say im dumb for this probably, but im being serious, why are more and more people raising from very early position with un-premium hands EDIT - read this back, sounds like im having a go at dawg. I am not doing this, i respect Dawgs play and results immensely. |

![]() its like this, if you only raise with top 8 hands you are going to be real easy to read and figure out. The guy will be like ok this guy has one of these hands because he always raises with the same range of hands. If you mix up your play then you are less likley to figure out. This is very important in tourney play and its the same reason I put you on AT that one day in that tourney. You may think it was just luck by me but it actully wasnt I know the range of hands you raise in the different positions on the table. So Dawg raised from early position and hit a monster flop and got involved with a calling station that decided to semi-bluff on turn. Dawg - wow dude you are having a terrible run, I actully was talking to my friend Chuck about you when you were sitting at a $10 tourney with him last week. I told him how solid you were and to be careful and he asked me why you were playing such low limits if you were so good. I basicly told him you are on the biggest slump I have ever seen, you are good enough and when this slump ends I have a feeling you are going to go on big run, gl. |

![]() I dont think I have ever posted in here, but I have had my fair share like fllopping broadway and losing to 4 outer house, or trips losing to runner runner flush, I have come to the realization it happens and oh well. one thing I do is try a different game for week or so, like right now playing omaha H/L. I have watched you play dawg and not blowing smoke up your ass when I say when you sit down I play a little differently. |

I resisted posting in here (other than my 0-15 coinflip streak which i did as more of a 'check this out' than a 'woe is me' type of thing) up til now. I guess i got to the point where i had to complain about my 'bad luck' just like others have.

Well, i complain to you constantly - that is the price you pay for being a friend with a loser like me. I just decided recently to submit the rest of these poor souls to my incessant whining and complaining.

Yeah, the 7,8s thing was not normally what i do. I hadnt played a hand in about three orbits or so - figured i would come in with it and see what happens. Caught my ideal flop. When he pushed on the turn, i couldn't see him having a Queen (or a 7). Figured A-high or another pair. Figured if he had a Queen - he wouldnt have pushed at that point. I figured correctly (maybe that was dumb luck that i was 'right' this time) - just didnt work out.
I don't have too much respect for my results as of late though. So what the f do i know. |
