From what I hear Jamie Gold is simply ANNIALATING the competition and catching cards HUGE. At double the chips of 2nd place, he's going to be a monster to knock down...

I believe so, yes. I don't see anything about it on ESPN's site, but I did just find this. Interesting read:
I didn't realize Chan was in Gold's corner... nor did I realize that the biggest chip in play is a $100k chip... man, that going to be a lot of chips when they get heads up... |

yeah they added the 100K chip this year for the 1st time ever in WSOP history...
they said it looked like mint chocalate ice cream. yes Jamie Gold has caught huge hands... Set over set, him having the better set. hes also had 2 pr vs 2pr SEVERAL times and had the better two pair. The combination of great cards and his oppenents hitting huge hands as well has lead to his huge chip stack. |
