Passing Time By
A player on Keith Sexton and Robert Mizrachi's table has read through almost 300 pages of a book since play started today at 12 p.m. The player reads his book to pass time when he is not in a hand. The day ones of the main event finish each day after 3 a.m. and players are using anything to keep them awake and on top of their game so they can survive to Day 2.



that was last live update seems pretty up to date. seems like there just not updating chip stacks but the live updates they are lol duh brian.



Negreanu Takes Down Big One
In middle position, Daniel Negreanu makes it $800 to go. An opponent behind him then pumps it to $1,900. Negreanu calls. The flop comes 8J10 and Negreanu checks to his opponent who fires $2,200 at the pot. Negreanu then re-raises to $5,500 where upon his opponent moves all-in for a few thousand more. Negreanu calls and turns up Q9 for the nuts while his opponent shows A9. The turn and river fail to improve Negreanu's opponent. Negreanu now sits with $54,000.

Dude. It's not whether Cardplayer is updating in a timely manner. It's whether they've even looked at his chipstack in the last 2 hours. They do a good job with the resources but you definitely shouldn't trust a number that hasn't changed for that long.
