Don’t want to appear ungrateful
Enjoying the forum, looking forward to making it 200 posts, like the site overall. And I think posting articles is a great idea.
That said, I didn’t find a lot of value in this particular piece. There are so many great blogs out there nowadays with analysis on different hands, different scenarios, different sites. This one seemed rather general, and lacking any real actionable advice. |

This was not an advances strategy article, and that's ok. It was a basic article about game selection - the author has his opinion, and I thought it was reasonable to post.
I do appreciate your feedback on this though, and hope to get more in the future. As for the author, no, we are not related, but I disagree with you, aeq. I see no problem with him making money through his affiliate site. Hell, you're reading a post on an affiliate site right now. As for him marketing an idea to college kids, I'm not really sure what you mean (or how you know who he is targeting), but I will say that anyone - college kid or otherwise - who puts the time and effort in, can make a successful living off of the internet. That's not saying what Jeremy is selling is worth the money (I have no idea - never seen it)... just stating a fact. |

I have writer's block for my intermediate section of the NL holdem instruction, someone gave me an idea to do an article on either PLO or O8B intermediate play. I need a break from thinking about hold'em, but i dont know which to write about, pot limit omaha or omaha 8 or better.... the first person to tell me which article they want me to write will get their choice
