I find participating in chat to have no real value. I might read it to get additional clues if anyone is on tilt, but other than the obligatory TY to NH, I don't see much point in it. I have nothing to gain, and risk getting pissed off.

Exceptions can be made if I know another player at the table and want to get some good-natured ribbing in.
