You can also transfer play money by right clicking on the person's picture and clicking "transfer play money"

hey i was wondering can u transfer chips if ur in a tournament?
the reason ui ask was me and a buddy were recently playing in a $10 + $1 no rebuys. i was the chip leader had about 30k with about 18/19 ppl left and my buddy was the shortest stack on 1k blinds were 250/500 so he had to make a move. anyway we couldnt find a way where i could transfer some of my stck to him. is there a way cos i know u can transfer play money etc in the lobby

I have transfered chips a few times on pokerstars, its fairly easy and ok to do, I dont have any problems with it. Only prob is when people break your deal and dont send you back what your deal was, and you cant get it back, so thats the only downside i think.

This is a lie, of course. Transferring chips = collusion = not allowed.

Duh.
