Pshabi or TP, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong:
During the bonus period, when a player receives a bonus directly from the site itself (ie: Empire giving you $100 to clear 10x), that money is subtracted from your rakeback total because it is charged against the affiliate. I don't think this is the modus operandi for every single website, but I recall it being in place for Party/Skins.
