Because most people aren't disciplined enough to stick to the minimum bet. I almost busted out of one where i did that, but managed to get my head on straight and grind out the bonus with the minimum $1 bet.

Also, avoid the sticky bonuses (Golden Palace, etc) to start off with. I'm not trying to make any money off of anyone here. I've had a good experience with casino bonuses and want to help you boost your eggroll. The key is discipline, plain and simple.

Spidey, I understand the premise behind whoring casinos, and I may do so myself, however casinos take longer to clear, do they not? I mean, I 4 table at a poker site and in 3 hours I have my bonus.

Also, like I said, casinos online drop like flies. I don't hear of too too many poker sites that do the same.

In any event, whoring at poker sites is just such easy money. I will leave the office this evening feeling very confident I will make $100 US + this evening simply sitting down and playing about 500 hands. Anything I win at the tables is in excess.

Geoff...it takes about 3 hours to clear most of the casinos I listed. Intercasino has a monthly reload of 90-100. Easy clear.

When I have an eggroll, I like to play $10 sngs on Party. Like somebody else mentioned, you get a lot of play for your money and it's harder to go broke vs. playing cash games. If you win a couple, it will boost your eggroll quite nicely as well.

ya but its not the best advice, I mean what are the chances he is gonna actully turn his eggroll into a real roll putting it all on a 2/4 table. Lou I would stick to some of the other advice given SAGs or grinding would do best for you. I personally will have $50 on pokerstars in a couple days and will be playing .05/.10 limit, this I dont think is for you because that would be absolute torture for you but I need to do it to try to improve my disapline. If I were you I would stick to the SAG or grind the NL games, of course if I was you I would also be a lawyer and that would be interesting.

Although Kirk's advice is risky, he read that I wasn't scared of putting it on the line. It's very possible that I have a winning session at a higher limit. If that's the case, then I could have a doubled bankroll, eh?

But, I've decided against that.

Two things:

(1) Brian and Kirk - I'll tell you both right now, don't start arguing back and forth in this thread. I really don't feel like dealing with it. This thread could possibly be useful for people who want to try to build a roll from a small amount.

(2) Kirk, I seriously considered sitting at a higher game. I have no problem gambling, but the thing holding me back is that if I have a losing session (thus losing my meager eggroll)... then I won't have any money to fart around with.

I think right now, although I want to build this eggroll up, I just wanna stay playing. Whether it be a cheap SnG or a micro-limit game, at least I can relax at night for an hour and play some poker.

The good news is that a friend I used to "run" with (lol) called me up. He had a very good week at various games and he's looking to put me in action. So, hopefully I'll have some live-game exposure over the next few weeks. If I'm able to turn a profit, maybe I can deposit a little more online.

Damn I'm rambling... friends were over for dinner and I've had too many Tanqueray and Tonics.

not arguing, I think if sng where youre bread and butter back in the day then that might be your best option. I really like that 3 table Idea someone came up with earlier. Whatever you choose Lou good luck.
