I feel the same way as you eddo...the only game all year ive touched with the pats was the buffalo game, teased the pats with the over for a W...the over (teased down) went over in the 1st half of that game which was nice.
By the way, is it just me, or was that loss today a whole lot easier to take after the Sox big win....i guess the sports gods thought we've been on too much of a roll city wise, and figured to give someone else some light today....

EAGLES: Only undefeated team in the league!
Next week is at Pittsburgh, and the spread will probably put them favorites by maybe 3 or 5 pts. Anyone like the Eag's here?

![]() Line opened at 1.5, would not bet against Pittsburgh right now, Roethlisberger is dangerous and doesn't know he should be overwhelmed right now. Having said that, I posted earlier in this thread that Philly is the kind of team to blow out Pittsburgh, so I guess I just have to watch this one (who am I kidding). |

roethlisberger is definatly playing out of his mind right now, IMO he has potential to be another payton.

i dont see him as a peyton at all. i think he has much better mobility, and while i dont think that he will be a similar quarterback as peyotn, he defintely has the potential to be a comparable one. he has looked absolutely unbelieveable all year. i cant believe that two qb's went before him in the draft. the giants and chargers cant be feeling too good about themselves right now.

i just think that the fact that eli and rivers are on the bench behind two guys who were all bu tdead last year should tell us something. yeah, brees and warner are playing pretty well, but i am not sure what happened to them betwen last year and this year. maybe it was motivation knowing that their jobs were on the line, but im still not sure.
i thought that it was ridiculous when people said eli was better than peyton, and it looks even worse right now. |

yeah, that loss was very easy to take after the sox win. everyone knew that they were going to lose sometime, and now was as good as any, i guess. its tough that they lost it by playing absolutely awful football in the first quarter, and that they really seem to be hurt by injuries right now, but they will bounce back.
i dont care though. the sox just won it all. i can put away my cynicism for a while now. |
