Brian: I am going to stick with da .50/1 full. Why? It takes more skill to beat it. I am trying to get some confidence back that I can beat poker and I find beating ten people alot harder. Also, I am not playing a lick of 1/2 until my Bankroll is high enough. It is at 97.25 and climbing right now.
Kurn: It is my favorite book. Like I said before I am getting back to basics and trying to figure out what I did to ruin my game. Probably a mix of alot of things. Anyways, I am basically sitting on page 80 pre-flop, and not getting too cute. Especially at .50/1 where someone will call your 2-3BET with a runner-runner gutshot draw on the turn, LMAO. junYUN: Two things. Would like to see you play some night. Look me up. FWALGman on Party. Secondly: Different people play for different reasons. What do you consider killing .50/1? How much profit do you make in an average night? I have two goals in playing poker. 1) Make money, 2) Be the best player I can. I have a decent paying day job. If I stick to .50/1 I will never make any money that is serious to me. At 5/10 or 3/6 even you can make alot (and lose alot). Anyway, I think it is worth getting a large bankroll built up so I can make 1-2K or 4-5K a month instead of a few hundred. Maybe you already make that, I dont know, but that is my intention. I have yet to fully succeed in my attempts mostly because I do not handle losing very well, but I still have hope for myself. I do think I have done better than the majority of online players who I have seen play. Many people never get anywhere. Alot of people playing longer than me have never had even close to my bankroll. If I can adjust my personality a little I might actually be able to make some money doing this. Either that or I will go slowly insane until they put me away in an insane asylum muttering over and over "I can not beleive he called my raise with 23o".
