I think the durrr 67 vs Eastgate's A7 hand from episode one influenced this hand. Tom was shocked when Peter turned his hand over. Maybe Tom felt Peter was playing with a bit of scared money.

Also, even though it's episode two, this is actually the last day of filming of hsp...and they just decided to broadcast the last day first.... so there may be more history that we don't see.

I don't really like the call on the flop from Barry. Obviously he knows that Peter must have him beat. The hand is 8 handed and Peter in the sb has pot odds to call with a ton of hands in this situation...with the over call it's obvious Peter has to have at least a 2. I understand from the audio, BG, is thinking implied odds and such.... but the way he plays the hand, even if he hits the Ace on the turn he might not get paid off even if he hits. This is especially true since we see Peter fold trips, and Tom knowing BG had an overpair like Aces. This is apparent when Tom bets Doyle after hand that Peter had the best hand. He knew where everyone was and still bluffed with the worse hand and won.
