You do realize that four Aces beats three (and even 4 if he hit both the turn and river perfect-perfect) 8s, right?

I mean, I know you run bat, but generally speaking, you're in pretty good shape holding AAAA after the flop.

You mean there aren't 5 8's in the deck? I meant more along the lines of---I wasn't rooting for quads, I was just rooting agianst an 8. I would have felt the same with just AA and a dry board with no 8 as I would have with quads whereas years gone by it seemed like a big deal to make quads.
