I gotta tell you guys - I'm loving all this smack talk, and I'm gettind psyched for this. I still think we should wait a while to do this, so we have more users, but in a random act of coincidence, something interesting showed up in my emil account today that I had completely forgotten about.

is having a Poker Forum Freeroll this Friday (October 29th) at 8:00 PM EST! It's a $5000 freeroll for affiliates who have forums on their sites, like me. I forgot all about this, because when they announced the idea, I didn't have a forum yet. But every single one of you is eligible to play.

This is totally free to play in - no deposit required or anything like that. Unfortunately, I will be out of town this Friday and unable to play, but this could be a good warmup for you guys, before we get down and dirty with a TalkingPoker.com only tourney.

I think low buy-in would probably be the best way to go. TP is already giving some of us posting bonuses, so I think we can all scrounge up 5-10 bucks to do it. Just picking a date that will be crucial. I vote for Sunday afternoon, basically the only time I play.

time is the biggest thing. I work 2nd/3rd at Pepsi so my bets times are weekend. just something to think about. Plus i think when TP decides to have it then we need to know a little in advance. Some sites people dont play and/or do not have money in them. As for me i prolly dont have money in them.

Have a freeroll on stars or a low buyin tourny, easy to setup if u have 2000fps

This sounds like a great idea and I would also participate if something like this was set up. I think I low buy in would be better than free roll though in my opinion.
