You don't "play" a torrent file. A torrent file simply points to all the various parts of the actual file you do play (think of it as being broken down into chunks, and the torrent file knowing where all thsoe chunks are).
You donwload the torrent file, throw it into a torrent client (I recomment BitComet), let it download everything, and then play the file it downloads when it's done. Sometimes this will require you to put all the pievces back together (by clicking on a single rar file), but often times it will be ready to go. |

When I download with BitComet, it completely kills my internet connection... it's almost like I'm bringing in 500k/s, but I'm not... rarely do my downloads ever exceed 60k/s. This shouldn't kill the rest of my bandwidth.
Anyone else have this problem?
