Hey,
Sounds unfortunate. But I don't really understand what happened in this 'incident' you describe. Had you guys gone all in and he had called, and you flipped before river? What happened after flop? Or on turn? I'm not too familiar with tourney rules irl. Cheers, Gutzz PS. One of the reasons I've never gotten into tournaments much is because it seems like there's just so much disapointment playing in them. Another thread on here was just put up about getting bad beats to newbs.... Rough playing in them I guess. Last edited by Gutzz; 12-30-04 at 06:00 AM. |

Ok, he checked to me on the flop and I immediately bet T700. After at least 5 minutes he reluctantly calls, and I flip over my cards thinking he is all-in. After the turn he moves all-in after seeing my gutshot and overcard. He took 5 minutes to call my bet when folding or moving in were both better choices. I hate begginers who don't know the rules

Oh ok I get it.
And the rules are what? If you flip then hand is cancelled? That'd be a convenient fallback if you miss your draw on turn and don't wanna risk missing the river ![]() Cheers, Gutzz |
