Its all about spin, baby.
  I agree, it shows profit, rather than just how much has been cashed, and you can break it down over different time scales. I tried using it last night in a $10 27 person SNG on 'Stars. I threw into comments 3 stats (past 180 days) ROI, # tournies, avg buy-in. Gives you a nice little snapshot of the player.
