improving
read this from an article by Taylor Caby...
"Every week or two, ask yourself the question, "Am I a better poker player than I was last time I asked this question?" If the answer isn't a resounding yes, and you can't think of anything you have learned in the last five to ten thousand hands, then you aren't focusing on improving your play, you are just playing." -While it might sound dumb and obvious, I really have been just playing for the last 3 months or so. I mean ya I slowly improve based off experimentation and logical thinking, but I rarely read poker books anymore or watch cardrunners videos or any of that. I really need to make sure every week I am improving from now on cuz I'm sure I should be beating 3/6 by alot more than I am, right now I think i'm usually the 2nd or 3rd best player at the table - spread out among 12 tables and thats still good $, but I should be at least 1st or 2nd best by now for sure. I'm really gonna try to ask myself that question at the end of every week, maybe even post in this thread the new thing I really learned, we should all do that and we'd be killing 25/50 soon.
