i usually play this hand, but really i am hoping to flop top pair with a ten rather than top pair with an ace. i think that a pair of tens with an ace kicker is actually a stronger hand in this situation, because of the kicker problems that are inherent with a pair of aces with a ten kicker.
it isnt really a great hand for me unless it is suited though. obviously trying to catch three perfect cards for a straight isnt the best strategy, so it is probably best to just proceed with caution. |
