I hate Reel Deal...
Read his post about going to beat up on the dorks at Full Tilt in the NL tables for a while. Thought it sounded like a nice change of pace.
Got off to a good start. And then the nonsense started. I can think of 4 hands ALONE that cost me $1800 or so. For three of them, I was a huge favorite when all the money went in the middle, and they sucked out on me. The best was when I got a guy holding KK all in with my 54 after a flop of T54. I KNEW he had an overpair and I KNEW I could break him. He galdly pushed in after my min reraise and sure enough, hit the case King on the river (someone else had folded one). Yes, I realize he had three Ts and the turn card as outs as well. Still annoying. The fourth of those hands was one I played badly. Silly me had 78 and the flop cam 456. I should have known that was trouble. I bet the flop, but not enough to scare away the flush draw. He made his hand on the turn, and I bet again. On the river, I donked off $200+ to him calling his all in. Idiot. Don't know what I was thinking there. Oh, and one more hand before I stfu. So I'm on tilt and decide to make a play after a preflop raiser bets at a T rag rag flop. I've got T7 and check raise him all in (he was short - around $100). He calls with JT! How in the hell you can call a huge check raise like that with TP shit kicker, I don't know... but I'll give credit where it's due. He was right. I pushed in from the button the next hand with my remaining chips, holding KQs. It was his BB and I wanted it to look like I was tilting. I wanted a call. Well, I got one. He turned over AA. LOL. Whatever. /End Rant. |
