A WORLD SERIES OF POKER ANNOUNCEMENT

The 2005 World Series of Poker will end with the $10,000 buy-in championship event, which is to be held between the dates of July 7 through July 15. Day One will include three flights, which are to be held on July 7th, 8th, and 9th. This will allow the Rio to accommodate up to 6,600 players which are expected to enter.

The final two days of the main event will be played at Binion's Casino in downtown Las Vegas. Those dates are July 14th and 15th. At present, the final table will be played on July 15th. However, if the event goes beyond currrent projections in time, it is possible that the final day will be played on July 16th. This is due to the fact that no tournament of this size has ever been held and it is impossible to predict the number of players remaining on each day.

We encourage our freinds in the media to make travel plans accordingly. While July 15th remains as the date of the final table, there is a possibility that play will entend to an additional day.

We appreciate everyone's support of the greatest event in poker.
