Default Low Limit NL

I have been playing exclusivly NL games lately and doing well. I am still learning so there is a huge consistency issue with my play. However it seems like in the low limit NL games on Party the key to winning is knowing how to lay down. I am not sure if this applies to higher limit games or not. How often are you tempted to go all in with that TPTK, or even call an all in bet with it. I mean he could be bluffing, right? I find that even the dumbest NL players tend to at least have something better than what you can see on the board when they go all in. Even trickier is when you have an overpair. Again, it is probably 50-50 or less that you are going to win that all in, even with the stupid players. Sometimes you will win when they have a smaller overpair, or they have TPTK, however its very tricky. So for the most part at these lower limits I find waiting really works. Take a few small pots, do not get too crazy with a pair, and wait until you flop something evil. Someone will connect and pay you off in triplicate. Some nights you will not hit the great hand and walk away with a small win but that is ok too. NL is not about scoring huge wins every night. At least my game is not. It is about grinding out wins as often as possible and making those ocassional huge scores on the good nights. I will say I am enjoying the unique challenges of NL and will be continuing playing it. Once my bankroll climbs back up into the 3K area I might throw in some ring game play, but maybe not. I will definitely be playing more MTTs and SNGs then though.
