Unfortunately they are only showing 8 of the games on TV here (including pay TV), but I'll still be following all the action. Not sure there are too many soccer fans here, but anyway

My friend roy and i decided to use a random number generator to split the top 76 goal-scorers. Every time one of our players gets a goal, it's worth $100. We also randomly split the 16 teams, and each team goal is worth $50 (spreadsheet attached). I got Germany, Portugal, Holland, Ronaldo, Torres and Van Nistelrooy, all of whom I can cheer for. If anyone wants Roy's players and teams, I'll gladly accept more action (capped loss amount too if you want it).

Should be a fun tournament and I don't really know enough about it to make any informed predictions
