Default Help With Rebuy Tourney Strategy

Might enter a $10+$1 rebuy tourney.

Here's the structure:

1500 chips to start; unlimited rebuys (1500 chips for $10) available until first break. Players must have 1500 chips or less to be able to rebuy.

One add-on (2000 chips for $10) available during the first break.

My Question: By the rules, it seems as though you can buy an additional 1500 chips as soon as the tourney starts. Is this correct? If I make a rebuy during the rebuy period, can I still add-on the 2000 chips during the break. Or are add-ons limited to people who didn't rebuy at all.

If I am able to make all of the buys listed above, my strategy would be this:

Buy an additional 1500 chips right away to play with an oversized stack. Play with 3000 in chips and if I dip below 1500, rebuy. Then, add-on 2000 chips at the break to what I already have.

Tell me why I should do differently. Quick replies appreciated.
