It's official: We Stink

I'm not giving in yet, cause that's not me baby. Chip & a Chair.

It is quite painful to watch. I started following baseball as a 6 year old in 1984. My life dream is for this team to win it all. I would gladly trade in 10 years of my life right now for that to happen. Maybe even 11.

This year is even worse than last year. It's just awful to see the way the game's are being lost. That Hawkins game where they loaded the bases against him and he caught the liner and chucked it off that dude's head was the worst ever.

I literally had the same feeling that I had after game 6/7 in 2003 against the Marlins. I was sitting there, 2 feet from the TV at that point with my 2 year old on my lap and my oldest son on the couch. I just stared in disbelief for a few minutes. Silent. We all were.

Then I finally just broke the silence with an angry scream of "hold the god damn ballllllll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!

It would've been classic to have on tape.

Anyway, I think we need to make a manger change. Not getting into the Dusty debate, but I think it' needed either way right now. Just for a spark, some energy, a change.

I'm just going to remember 2003 Marlins and how McKeon took over that team that was dead and they won it all.
