Interesting new UB tourney

It's a "Rebuy and Alternate" event. Limited to 50 players with standard rebuy rules, however you can still register after the first 50 and be an alternate. You can still get a seat during the first two blind levels if someone busts out and does not rebuy.

Ever play anything like that? I have heard of this live events, but not as a rebuy game and I have never played in one.

Huuuuuuuuge disadvantage to be an alternate in one of these things.

Although, some people would probably like them if they aren't willing to spend on the rebuys.
Still too big of a disadvantage to overcome.
