Shootout Strategy
I'm thinking of starting to play in some of the shootout satties they have at Stars both for their WSOP qualifiers and the big Sunday tourney.
Anyone have any tips and/or strategies for shootouts? Thanks.

I play them pretty much like SnG's, except that I may go for the win (double up, pot odds situations) every now and then. After all, you have to finish first in these to get to the final table. Once you are at the final table, depending on the size of the shootout, things change as the top so many places get a seat or money or whatever. I wouldn't change from your standard SnG strat much, though.

I play the turbos, the $11 and $16 qualifiers. I try and make more raises with good hands, to about 4x BB, play much more aggressively, alot more blind stealing, more semi bluffs, try and see more flops at the start. If you can get a big stack when your 4 way, with the power you have over the blind stealers, you should make it fine.
