Through my last 7000+ $5/$10 full ring hands, I am (are you ready for this)....
DOWN $150 with AKo!!! WHAT? Are you kidding me? It's actually my third worst hand out of ALL hands!!! I know this implies I must play it like shit, but I really don't think I play it particularly badly. The cards have been so evil to me lately - I think it's lost for me the last dozen times I;ve played it (no, I haven't counted). Unreal. |

I can believe that....
I don't think that A-K is such a great hand in "limit" Put it into a "no-limit" game and the value goes up exponentially. Anybody know why this is? I have a theory.

It's too easy to crack in limit. Even when you hit a flop, it's too hard to protect...

just got hit hard AKs
Im in this tourny right now . 144 player and were down to 24.I get AK s and bet 2k ,call flop q79 bet 2k and get raised 2k call one more turn 8 2k bet raised 4 k fold.Oh anna I hate you!! Was leading most of the way now im pretty low and fighting to get in the money .Wish me luck!!!
