most frustrating hand i've played
PokerStars Game #14885516519: Hold'em No Limit ($2/$4) - 2008/01/28 - 11:46:22 (ET)
Table 'Julietta' 6-max Seat #2 is the button Seat 1: hotmama66 ($559.15 in chips) Seat 2: OCqueen ($393 in chips) Seat 3: maxwell-ltd. ($396 in chips) Seat 4: MONEYBAG$21 ($330.40 in chips) Seat 5: NoTalentTom ($475 in chips) Seat 6: dwalsh1212 ($413.10 in chips) maxwell-ltd.: posts small blind $2 MONEYBAG$21: posts big blind $4 *** HOLE CARDS *** Dealt to NoTalentTom [As Ac] NoTalentTom: raises $10 to $14 dwalsh1212: folds hotmama66: calls $14 OCqueen: calls $14 maxwell-ltd.: folds MONEYBAG$21: folds *** FLOP *** [9h 7d 7s] NoTalentTom: checks hotmama66: bets $28 OCqueen: folds NoTalentTom: raises $56 to $84 hotmama66: raises $64 to $148 NoTalentTom: calls $64 *** TURN *** [9h 7d 7s] [3s] NoTalentTom: checks hotmama66: bets $265 NoTalentTom: raises $48 to $313 and is all-in hotmama66: calls $48 *** RIVER *** [9h 7d 7s 3s] [8s] *** SHOW DOWN *** NoTalentTom: shows [As Ac] (two pair, Aces and Sevens) hotmama66: shows [8c 8h] (a full house, Eights full of Sevens) hotmama66 collected $967 from pot NoTalentTom said, "lasdkfjasdlfkjasd'fasdjkflasd" NoTalentTom said, "fajsdkflkasdjfkasdjf" *** SUMMARY *** Total pot $970 | Rake $3 Board [9h 7d 7s 3s 8s] Seat 1: hotmama66 showed [8c 8h] and won ($967) with a full house, Eights full of Sevens Seat 2: OCqueen (button) folded on the Flop Seat 3: maxwell-ltd. (small blind) folded before Flop Seat 4: MONEYBAG$21 (big blind) folded before Flop Seat 5: NoTalentTom showed [As Ac] and lost with two pair, Aces and Sevens Seat 6: dwalsh1212 folded before Flop (didn't bet) It isn't that this is the worst bad beat i've ever had, it's just that the thought process by villain in this hand makes absolutely no sense at all. It's like he is in this zone where he is neither value betting or bluffing, but just throwing away money. |

That is pretty awesome.
I mean, WTF could he have possibly put you on??? Don't you just love when the morons are rewarded for their horrible, horrible, HORRIBLE play like that? |

the funniest thing i find about this hand is that if I were to 4bet on the flop, which I could conceivably do with like a straight draw, is that he would probably fold. making this hand an even bigger treasure trove.

Here is the past 24 hours that I have played today also. Most hands I've played in that span. Trying out 12 tabling. All is 2/4 or 3/6.
grinding.jpg At least I cleared a 3k bonus leftover from last year for hitting 300k VPPs on Stars. |

You've played more in the last 24 hours than I play in a month.

well its actually 2 days (all within the 24 hour timespan). i played two long sessions one before i went to bed the night before and one in the early morning today. Only worked for 4.5 hours each day. Don't think I overly stressed myself or anything.
Maybe I will try for Supernova Elite this year if I think I can get good at 12-tabling. |

Two months in a day
Playing live, you might see 25 hands per hour. So it would take 440 hours to play that many hands. Even on 10 hr a day, six day a week binge, that's still two months of play.
Makes you wonder why any pros bother with live play.
