Charity Poker Tournament
Thanks to Mark for allowing me to post this!
My name is Chane Steiner, I'm the owner of TheRoundersRoom. My nephews Braeden (4) and Bronson (2) both have neurofibromatosis (NF) type 1, and as a result have bilateral optic glioma brain tumors. In addition, Braeden has congenital pseudoarthrosis of his left tibia (leg bowing) due to his NF. Braeden has successfully completed 60 weeks of chemotherapy treatments and one day his tibia will likely be replaced with a steel rod. Bronson began chemotherapy treatment on February 27. We are having a tournament at Full Tilt (and running in a 10k race) to raise money for the Children's Tumor Foundation. You can read more about it here: Here are the details of the tournament: Where: Full Tilt Poker Title: Rounders Room Charity Password: charity Date: March 24 Time: 8 PM EST Buyin: $5 + $5 $5 for the pot, $5 for CTF Game: NL Holdem We would love to have you play with us! Feel free to give the password out to EVERYONE you know! If you have any other ideas to help us out, please contact me. If you would like to see more pics of my gorgeous nephews or have any questions about NF or CTF, just reply in this thread! Thanks for your help! I hope to see some TPers in this tourney. I'm going to try to make it. Actually, I'm going to register now anyway, and if I can't make it and end up sitting out the whole time, so be it...
Monday, 8 PM - be there! Maybe we can get a low limit TP cash game going on afterwards. |

My suggestion would have been to -not add a password- if you really wanted to get as many players into this tournament as possible, but since it's probably too late to correct this, I will do my very best to spam your tournament to all sites I am a member of and to my friends as well.
I'm not 100 % I can make it, but seeing it's for a good cause I will pre-register just the same. All the best to you, your nephews and your nephews' family. |

Im going to go register in this one and may be late arriving. I moved Melting Pot to Monday nights because I got alot going on on Wed nights now. I try to make all charity events even if I have to sit out.
Thank you for letting me know about this and I will be sure to tell other forums. Cali

Yeah, I wish they would have just made it a public tournament and explained the $5 fee in the little tournament information area.
There are actually a bunch of things I wish were different about the set up of the tournament. I had my tournament director set it up and didn't explain to her how to do it. We may be having 1 or 2 more tournaments before our deadline of May 3. So, hopefully Mark will allow me to post about that one as well. Anyway, thanks to everyone who is playing with us and telling others about it. It really means a lot to me. If you ever need anything, hit me up! |

Looks like only 4 TP Members ion thios tonight:
Me Bunny Invig Cali And Invig and Cali are sitting out. Nice of you guys to play though. I missed the first 2 minutes and have been a freaking card rack ever since. LOL that FT chooses THIS TOURNEY for me to cach in my Sklansky bucks. Anyway, I've decided to give whatever I win to the Children's Tumor Foundation - so here's hoping I take it down. |

Nice Job TP!
Sorry I missed it. I had to run into the city to look at a bicycle. I picked up a Raleigh ten speed from the late 80's and the thing looks and runs like it just came out of the store. Beats the hell out the full suspension mountain bike I used in my triathlon last year. It was a great deal at $70.
