Need some tips on how to help my novice tell.
So my novice tell is that I cannot hold my chips steady when betting with a big pair. I felt that if I could minimize my tell, I would be a much better player. It's a donk tell, but I don't play that bad.
Any tips or suggestions would be extremely helpful. Thanks Last edited by ChrisKim47; 02-09-07 at 04:42 AM. |

Practice?
If that doesn't work, intentionally shake your hand the same when you are bluffing. Just ty to be consistent, no matter what you do. |

Yeah, I'm glad my shaking isn't a tell. I do it no matter what when I'm in a pot at a casino. At home games, I never shake.

The more you play live, the less this will happen. My personal feeling is the more you focus on trying *not* to do something, the more unnatural your actions become.
