Default Just Saying Hello

Recently found this site and signed up... just wanted to post to say hello and get some recommendations.

What is everyone's opinion of the best places to play on-line? I'm thinking of starting a bankroll at a site and was wondering which is the best place to start. I've been playing NLH for about six months (play in a local monthly game and have played in some tournaments at a local casino/poker room with some success). I've caught onto the game pretty quickly, have read several books (Hellmuth and Warren) and would say I'm an intermediate player at this point. I mostly like to play NLH tournaments.

Suggestions for the best place to start with real $$ online?

Thanks.

Definately Party, no questions asked. Nice signup bonus plus monthly reloads, you cannot go wrong.

Open an account there, deposit some cash for the signup bonus, get the bonus, open a neteller account, withdraw from Party, then go to Pokerstars for the next deposit bonus but always take advantage of Party's monthly reloads when they happen, since Pokerstars bonus can be cleared whenever, no time limit.

PS Welcome to the board and if you don't live in Maryland, definately get a neteller account for when you withdraw and use other sites for bonuses, can build a bankroll quite quickly. Check Talking Poker's links or even PM him and see what he can do or where he might think you should start.

I always appreciate when people support this site by signing up to new poker sites through my links... When I can, I try to give a little something back. Here's a way for you to instantly turn $20 into $70, for example:

I would move site to site as well to bonus whore till you get a nice roll.

Eventually tho if your looking to find a place you call home, I would go with pokerstars because they have any type of cash game your looking for (as low as .01/.02 NL) and they have low buyin NLHE tourneys ($1, $2, etc).

Party is a nice site for the bonuses but for a small bankroll party it isnt that great... the lowest limit game they offer is .50/1 and they dont have small buyin tourneys like stars (smallest party has is $5 and $10 tourneys).

Thanks for the replies and the tips guys! Much appreciated. I guess my problem is that I have little time to get online each night and play so my ability to go around and play the required hands to scoop up the bonuses at each site is limited to the point that it might be impossible for me. But, I do like your $50 Noble offer Talking Poker!! Very nice. So, I think I might go with PokerStars since it looks like they have some very low limits that are attractive for someone that's just getting their feet-wet in the online world.

Thanks again, really appreciate it!

If you are trying to build a bankroll, which most new players are doing, the best idea is to move from site to site. Sign up, earn their deposit bonus, and then move on. By doing this, not only will your bankroll grow, but you will be able to see what sites you like the best, and figure out where you want to play most of your hands in the future.

I keep this page up to date with the latest bonus offers, and they are more or less in the order I recommend the sites. So..... start at the top, and work your way down
