Now, just to clarify, I knew it would be a risk to push in because I figured someone was on a flush draw. And when the 6 hit, I thought I was dead. I wasn't. Nope .. that didn't come until Old Man River.

Bad luck, but not necessarily a bad beat.

probably the top two things that piss me off the most is when i push kings and get called by aces and when you both go all in with the same hand and the other guy hits the flush. thats sucks man. good hand.

Something similar actually happened to me the other day. I was dealt kings, raised preflop, got reraised, reraised back and got reraised again all-in. Now, a good poker player would have probably put his opponent on Aces here, which I did. Yet, the similarities between me and a good poker player ended right there. Instead of making the tough fold, I shoved my chips in angrily -- to paraphrase the greatest dialogue in Seinfeld history -- "like an old man trying to return soup at a deli!"
George: The sea was angry that day my friends, like an old man trying to return soup at a deli! (Jerry gives Kramer a "what the h-" glance) George: I got about fifty-feet out and then suddenly the great beast appeared before me. I tell ya he was ten stories high if he was a foot. As if sensing my presence he gave out a big bellow. I said, "Easy big fella!" And then as I watched him struggling I realized something was obstructing his breathing. From where I was standing I could see directly into the eye of the great fish! Jerry: Mammal. George: Whatever. Kramer: Well, what did you do next? George: Then from out of nowhere a huge title wave lifted, tossed like a quark and I found myself on top of him face to face with the blow-hole. I could barely see from all of the waves crashing down on top of me but I knew something was there so I reached my hand and pulled out the obstruction! (George pulls out of the inside pocket a golf ball) (Jerry and George just stare at Kramer) Kramer: What is that a Titleist? A hole in one eh. |

After the flop, he was a 4.55 percent favorite to win. The turn made him a 20.45 percent favorite. The *(&(^#* river made him a 100 percent favorite.
