500$ out of nowhere
So I logged into my Fullcontact Poker account and found $500+ in my cashier account that I hadnt put there. I checked my bank, I checked my transaction history, and I checked Neteller...nothing.
What do you do here?!? Well... First i changed my password just in case, cause thats just freaky. Then I mulled it over for a while in my head and decided that well, if it was a system bug, I suppose I should do the right thing and tell them. Am I a sucker? |

I personally think these sites rob ppl enough with rake and if it was a glitch so be it, your gain... their mistake and it costs them.
To add a story to this, the other week at the local card room I was cashing out $2020. The cashier gave me a $20 bill first, then two rubber bands of $20 ($500 each) They then proceeded to count out $1000 in $50 bills. I recounted the 50s and turned up to say thanks see you next time, as I was doing this I noticed the cashier was counting out another $1000 in $50 bills. Obviously since I started to walk away she realized something was up and asked me if I had everything and I was like yea I do, you gave me the 2 rubber bands of $20's...and she was like yea yea. The thing is if I didn't start to walk away and she handed me the extra $1k, I would have gladly took it... these places rob us of $4k a day in rake, and I wouldnt feel bad about it for a second. Call it grimey if you will, but thats my take. If it were someone I knew obviously I'd say something, but I think its a different story This is likely gunna start an ethics feud on this thread, which I don't want it to but whatever My point is simply if I found $500 in my account I wouldn't ask any questions and Id use it/withdraw it

You told them what? "Thanks for the G, suckers?"
I'm actually surprised errors like this happen so often. I don't keep close tabs on my online balances, but maybe I should. If errors can happen in the player's favor, they can certainly happen the other way too. |

I think this is a really funny statement from a guy who plays live.

I play online as well, just not as significantly as some of the players on this site. And either way, live or online they rob you

Actually, they don't rob you at all. If it were that bad, either nobody would play or a competitor would undercut them. Its a free market, vote with your feet.
