Sure, I think a bluff is *extremely* likely here.... but how did you know that he wasn't bluffing with a hand better than Q high? Do you assume he'd check behind any pair for showdown value, leaving only K high to worry about?

I agree.
I think even if he was floating 2 streets with King High, he checks behind the river for showdown value after the two aces come down. He also probably never goes to value town with a 7 6 or 2 since you'd play a decent 7 in the same fashion likely and any flopped two pair got counterfitted. Thus the only hands which may go to value town are 88 or 99 but given earlier decisions (limp call preflop, call flop , call turn) these are very unlikely....So I guess realistically only a floated flop Ace X (which may raise the turn anyway)... i guess a set rivered boat as well

You misread my post (or I didn't write it clearly)... I'm not saying it's likely he has K high - I'm saying you don't really have to worry about that, so my question was if you thought he'd check behind any small pair, like even a 78s type hand, rather than turn it into a bluff...? If so, you're good, right?
Well, unless he flopped a set, of course. |

yeah he snap called the flop, thus the reason why i 2 barrelled the turn and then it didn't really make sense for him to bet river unless he had some random floated ace on the flop, or some desperate bluff like this.
