Default Cashing out Habits

Just wanted to get a general consensus as to when you guys request cashout cheques from neteller. Personally, I do it in $500 increments every time my account becomes greater than $1,000. I find that if I continue playing with a larger balance, I loosen up a bit too much. I therefore limit myself to $500 after a cashout.

Any thoughts on this? Not sure when you guys do your cashouts, but when you start to notice the neteller account rising, do you also notice yourself loosening up a bit and playing hands you have no business playing?

I'm happy to say I play the same regardless of my online bankroll. I may play at higher/lower limits depending on the funds readily available to me, but my game stays the same. Yours should too.

I am curious to know how you pay neteller "Fees"?
Why not hook up a bank account and get it done for free?

I simply cash out at the end of the month anything over my starting bankroll.
Which in my case is $X.
On good months I cash out on the 14th also. (this is a good month. )

No, the fees I am referring to is the amount they take when you cash to them from a site. IE I lost $15 CDN despite being up $6 US on Party, due to the raise in the loonie and the neteller fee for the deposit from Party.

I could care less about the $3 charge for them to mail me a cheque if that is what you are referring to. But you know, is that bank account thing really stable. I am starting to think maybe I should do the same thing.

What fee is this? Neteller never charges me to deposit cash into my account from a poker site.

yeah Geoff Ive never had a fee like this either.

I usually get to 1,000 or 1,200 then cash out half of that then rebuild back up to that again.

the only fee i have is the initial 8.9% when transferring from my bank to neteller, everything else is fee free.

i usually cash out the amount of my initial deposit as soon as i've doubled it (plus neteller fee) and then cash out when i need extra money. i dont know if this is the best way to do it, but it works for me.

James, will this not mess up UB? I'm not sure how often you're on there, but I thought once you deposited from a neteller account to UB, you cannot change the account.

OK, thanks Chip. I just figured out the problem. Their exchange rate is somewhere around .79, so I am losing .02 on the dollar. Not a significant amount but it does add up to $2 on every $100.

James, just curious, when depositing to and from your bank account, have you actually figured out that you are indeed getting the correct exchange rate with every deposit and withdrawal.
