Dilemma
Ok, here's the thing. Right now I am playing Pokerstars cash Limit Omaha hi/lo 8ob $0.02/$0.04 (High stakes ). Omaha's pretty fun but I would definetely prefer NLHE. The problem is that I only got about $25 which I laboured for over a long time (I started with $0) and I don't think that's a big enough bankroll to fund NLHE yet.
So, what do I do? keep playing Omaha to increase my bankroll but decrease my skill in NLHE Go NLHE where my Risk of Ruin is pretty high or play play money games and sell those chips to increase my roll. (I don't know about the quality of play money players so...maybe i'd improve my game slightly)

The .01/.02 NLHE tables are only $5 buy in and softer than playmoney tables IMO. They don't fold rarely EVER. If you stay patient, advoid coinflips and just get your money in ahead you will do good. The .02/.05 is also really soft but if you don't feel comfortably maybe play .01/.02. I remember once I played .01/.02 for an hour and turn $5 into $25 all at the same table.

softer than play money tables... no, first off all, its not an oxymoron, as that requires 2 words that contradict each other.
However, yes... it is harder than play money tables, and the limit omaha tables that I am used to. I'm down $.35 for this session that's 1.43% of my bankroll.

In my opionon it is easier because in playmoney the players usually are just pushing all in randomly whenever they hit and on real money they are passive and will just call anything and not push the action because they are afraid to lose all their money.

Play money isn't likely to increase your skill if you already understand the game of Hold'em. I started with $25 on Stars at the penny tables and the $1 SnGs and Tournaments and was able to build my roll quite well. Once I had enough to be able to cash out and deposit for the min, I then started bonus hunting. That helped build it too. So if you prefer hold'em you can do build up a roll that way.
