Private Tourney set-up on Stars

How is it done (searched around there this morning and couldn't find anything)? And, can you set up a private HU SnG?

You need to have had earned at least 2000 FPPs in the past to set up private riverstaraments. I don't think you can set up private HU SnGs, but things may have changed. I also don't think you need to have the actual points anymore, I just think you had to cross the 2000 FPP "mark."

As Aeq stated you must have at least 2000 FPPs (I am 400FPPs short). In regards to the private HU sng, if you mean private tournaments, yes you can set these up. My friends have done this in the past many times and I believe so has TP. When I first registered here, I do recall playing in a few HU private tournaments. Don't quote me on that, not 100%, might have been a different forum.

I know I've earned well past 2000 FPPs, but I've used them on tourney buy-ins. So maybe you do have to have that many in your account??

When you go to the Private tab under Tournaments should I be seeing something that would allow me to set one up?

You used to have to email them to set them up. I imagine that is still the case.

Correct. At least it was back then.

As for the HU SNGs, it depends what you mean. You can schedule (at least an hour in advance, I think) a HU tourney that is open to multiple people.... but you can not set something up for 2 people only or anything that will start immediately. At least that's how it used to be. I talked with Lee Jones about this a couple of years ago at the WSOP, and they had no intention of changing this, even though I think it would be a nice feature for their site, and very simple to implement.

Does not matter if you have used them up on tourney buyins, so long as you have earned the amount of 2000 FPPs you are free to create your own private tournies. You do, however, have to email stars. They will download that option for you on the request tab.
